FAQ

These are all genuine questions which our customers have asked. We will update this page whenever we get any more enquiries.

  1. How soon will my coffee arrive?  We send out our parcels by Royal Mail First Class post which usually takes between 24 – 48 hours to arrive. If you want your delivery quickly we recommend that you choose Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Next Day service.
  2. What do I do if my coffee is damaged when it arrives? If your parcel has arrived and your coffee has been damaged then please contact us either by phone, by email or by using the form on our contact page.  We will replace the coffee for you without any hesitation, but we may ask you to send the damaged coffee back to us so that we can take up the dispute with Royal Mail on your behalf.  We will of course refund you the cost of postage.
  3. I have forgotten my password.  Can I change it myself?  Yes follow the link in the confirmation email that you received with your last order and it will take you in to your account and you can change your password yourself.
  4. How should I store my coffee once I have opened the bag?  Coffee will start to deteriorate when exposed to oxygen and that is why your coffee is sealed inside a one way valve foiled bag to preserve its freshness. You should not pop your opened bag of coffee in a kitchen cupboard and leave it there for months on end. We recommend that you store your coffee in an airtight container in the fridge.
  5. How long will it stay fresh?  Each bag, tin or jar of coffee carries a best before date on the label. Once you have opened your beans or ground coffee, and have stored it in an airtight container in the fridge, you must consume it within three months to enjoy it in peak condition. We have been assured by the manufacturers that even if you have saved your coffee for a special occasion and realise that it is up to its best before date, once opened you should still be able to enjoy your coffee within the three months recommended storage time in the fridge.
  6. How fine is your ground coffee?  All our ground coffee is a medium grind suitable for a Cafétier or filter coffee machine.
  7. How should I make coffee to get a really good tasting cup every time?  Whether you are using a cafétier or making a cup of instant coffee use hot, not boiling water to get the best results every time. Some people prefer to use filtered water, but that is completely up to you.
  8. Is your Instant Coffee really made only from Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee?  Yes, it really is! Jablum Instant Coffee is made using only Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee beans. We believe it is the best instant coffee that we have ever tasted and we believe that you will agree with us!
