We have a deep love for Jamaica and feel strongly about the support that the Jamaican Diaspora can give to the island’s economy.  By importing our Blue Mountain Coffee ready roasted direct from Jamaica we are able to keep a larger proportion of the purchase price in the island to support the Jamaican economy.

The education system in Jamaica is of a very high standard, however its High Schools are fee paying, which is financially challenging for many families and puts their children at a disadvantage because of issues of affordability.  As former teachers, we have a passion for education and the opportunities for social mobility and community transformation that can be created and generated by helping children to fulfil their potential.  We will be placing 10% of our profits into a fund to establish the Blue Mountain Foundation which will support a scholarship programme in Jamaica.

Our intention is to partner with those who share our vision to create a future where the gifts and talents of this generation are supported and developed to their highest level to make their dreams a reality.  We have no intention of reinventing the wheel or creating unnecessary bureaucracy to help those we are trying to support.  We are therefore channelling our resources through a local Church Charity who are already engaging in this task and seeing fruitful results.  Currently it is not possible to buy Fair Trade Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, but by reinvesting in the people of Jamaica in this way, we are not just procuring the best coffee for our customers, but creating an ethical platform for you to demonstrate your social conscience.  Your partnership in this endeavour is helping to create a future for others of which you will be proud.  Thank you for your support.
